The last smartwatch from Amazfit in India was the Amazfit Pop 3R announced in June. Now the brand is confirmed to launch a new offering in the country. It will be a part of the Bip series that is quite affordable with all the essential specifications onboard. Notably, the Amazfit Bip 5 debuted in global markets earlier this month. The Indian variant is largely expected to be similar.

Amazfit has confirmed that the Bip 5 will launch in India soon. However, the exact launch date remains unknown at the moment. We can expect the upcoming offering to be available from Amazon just like other Amazfit smartwatches that are available on the e-commerce platform. 

As for the core specifications, in the global markets, the Amazfit Bip 5 has a large 1.91-inch display layered with 2.5D tempered glass and an HD resolution. It features a square dial that seems to be slightly curved and there is a physical button on the right side. 

The Amazfit Bip 5 is equipped with a 24-hour heart rate monitor, SpO2 sensor, and stress tracker. It also has a sedentary reminder that alerts the user when they have been idle for a long time. The wearable device packs support for more than 120 sports modes. It is also equipped with a built-in GPS for tracking outdoor activities. 

The Amazfit Bip 5 is backed by a 300mAh battery cell that is claimed to offer 10 days of usage. It runs on Zepp OS 2 which is claimed to offer a rich app ecosystem with more than 70 downloadable games and apps. It also features Bluetooth calling with a built-in mic and speaker.
