Earlier this month, Nothing introduced the Nothing OS 2.0.2 update that came with a lot of changes to the camera system among other areas. Although it was meant to be for the better, however, it ended up making the quality of the pictures taken from the Nothing Phone (2) worse. Now, the brand has released a correctional update labeled Nothing OS 2.0.2a that fixes the issues caused by the previous update.

Nothing Phone (2)

This update enhances facial clarity when capturing indoor scenes, optimizes highlight levels in low-light conditions, and introduces a user interface to display active HDR status. Additionally, it addresses the reduction of dull tones and resolves the halo effect problem experienced in portrait mode while shooting in HDR. If you have not updated to the Nothing OS 2.0.2 version, this new update includes the changes made in the previous one as well. You can check out the complete changelog below.
