Microsoft has been trying to win over Android users by making it easier to use their Windows and Android devices together. One way they are doing this is with Microsoft Launcher, which allows you to sync your clipboard between your devices, as well as other Microsoft products. Now, the latest beta update for Microsoft Launcher introduces a new feature: Bing Chat AI integration.

This means that you can now start a Bing Chat session directly from the Launcher’s search bar, without having to download the Bing app first. The feature was spotted by Windows enthusiasts @XenoPhanter who posted screenshots of the new feature on X (formerly Twitter).

The screenshots show that users can access Bing Chat via text prompts, with three modes: Creative, Balanced, and Precise—in a familiar-looking interface. Users will also be able to use their voice to interact with Bing Chat. The features are in line with Bing’s default app for Android.

In addition to Bing Chat AI integration, the beta build also introduces a new widget: the Bing Search widget. This widget can be added to the home screen and facilitates quick searches for users, making it easier to access information.

Microsoft has not yet announced when the new Bing Search and Bing Chat features will be rolled out to all Microsoft Launcher users. However, the good news is that the feature appears to be rolling out to Surface Duo devices as well. In any case, if you are interested in trying out the new features, you can sign up for the beta version of the launcher on the Google Play Store.
