The Samsung Galaxy S24 lineup is the company’s next generation of flagship smartphones. But despite the release of these phones being months away, there have already been various leaks and rumors regarding these phones. Now, the latest information reveals that the top-of-the-line Galaxy S24 Ultra will feature a massive storage option.

Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra sees a major storage upgrade

The news arrives from known tipster Tech_Reve, who shared the information on X (formerly Twitter). In the tweet, the tipster claimed that the Galaxy S24 Ultra is confirmed to feature up to 2TB of storage. If this news is true, then it means that the next-gen top-end flagship phone from Samsung will have twice the storage capacity of its predecessor. For those unaware, the Galaxy S23 Ultra model features up to 1TB of storage.

The tipster did not reveal the RAM capacity that will be paired with the massive 2TB storage configuration. However, he added that there will be more storage variants, which include a 12GB RAM model that is paired with 256GB storage. He further added that Samsung might even launch a 8GB + 128GB variant for the Galaxy S24 Ultra as well. Although, this seems unlikely considering the company’s last-gen S23 Ultra started from a base option of 8GB + 256GB.

It won’t be surprising if the company does decide to feature a 2TB option for the Galaxy S24 Ultra. It was one of the first brands to feature a 1TB storage option, so raising the bar for its upcoming flagship model is possible. But keep in mind that the launch of the device is still months away, so take this report with a pinch of salt.
