Motorola Edge 40 Neo has been in the news for a few months now, with leaks revealing almost all the details about the handset. The Edge 30 Neo successor was even teased by the company in an official X (formerly Twitter) post. And now, Motorola’s Romania arm has shared a poster that seemingly confirms the handset’s launch date for the global market.

As spotted by Mobilissimo, Motorola Romania has shared an invite that confirms the Edge 40 Neo is launching on September 14. The poster said “Enter the world of colors”, and the smartphone is likely to come in three Pantone-named versions, including Soothing Sea Blue. We don’t get any other details about the smartphone from the teaser.

According to previous rumors, the Motorola Edge 40 Neo will feature a 6.55-inch P-OLED screen with curved edges. The panel could offer an FHD+ resolution and a high 144Hz refresh rate. For photography, the Edge 40 Neo might feature a 32MP front camera and a dual-camera system consisting of a 50MP OIS-enabled main camera with a 13MP ultra-wide snapper.

Under the hood, the Edge 40 Neo could get a rebranded version of the Dimensity 1050 chipset, paired with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage. It could run MyUX-based Android 13 out of the box. The handset is likely to be powered by a 5,000mAh battery that supports 68W fast charging.

The Motorola Edge 40 Neo is reportedly equipped with an IP68-rated construction, ensuring water and dust resistance, and it tips the scales at approximately 170 grams. Leaked details indicate that the expected price for the Edge 40 Neo in the UK will be around £290.
