The Honor Purse V was initially showcased as a concept smartphone at IFA 2023 earlier this month. But recently, the brand confirmed that this device will be presented in China on September 19 (Tuesday) and will be available for purchase.
The Purse V from Honor is an outward folding foldable smartphone like the Huawei Mate Xs series. However, it is designed more as a fashion accessory than a productivity machine.
As the name suggests, the phone mimics a purse with its detachable straps and multiple AOD (Always-on Display) styles for its screen. Rumors say that it is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G SoC and supports 35W charging.
2. Motorola Edge 40 Neo
The Motorola Edge 40 Neo will debut in India on September 21 (Thursday). Since it is official in Europe, we know everything about it.
It is a mid-range smartphone positioned below the Edge 40. The device is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7030 chipset and is backed by a 5,000mAh battery with support for 68W wired charging.
It comes with a 6.55-inch FHD+ 144Hz curved OLED display, 50MP (wide) + 13MP (ultra-wide dual camera system, 32MP selfie camera, dual stereo speakers, and IP68 rating for dust and water resistance.
3. Redmi Note 13 Series
The Redmi Note 13 series is set to launch in China on September 21 (Thursday). This was expected as the brand had already teased it earlier this month.
As per teasers and leaks, the lineup will consist of at least three models, namely Redmi Note 12, Redmi Note 12 Pro, and Redmi Note 12 Pro+. All of them will arrive with a revamped design and upgraded features.
The Pro variants will sport 1.5K OLED displays with 1800nits peak brightness level and 1920Hz high-frequency PWM dimming. The screen on the Pro Plus will be curved and it will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7200-Ultra chip.
4. Vivo T2 Pro 5G
The Vivo T2 Pro 5G is planned to launch in India on September 22 (Friday). It will be positioned higher than Vivo T2x 5G and Vivo T2 5G which debuted earlier this year.
Going by the teasers and leaks, the phone is a rebranded iQOO Z7 Pro. For the unaware, the iQOO device itself is a rebadged Vivo S17e.
The handset will come with a thin and light design, a 120Hz curved AMOLED display, a MediaTek Dimensity 7200 chipset, Aura Light, 66W charging support, and more.
5. Tecno Phantom V Flip
The Tecno Phantom V Flip is scheduled to launch on September 22 (Friday). It will be unveiled at an event in Singapore.
This product is Tecno’s first-ever clamshell foldable smartphone. It will have a distinct design, thanks to a circular cover screen inside a ring camera module.
According to leaks, the device will arrive with a 6.75-inch 144Hz main display, a 1.39-inch secondary screen, a MediaTek Dimensity 8050 SoC, a 64MP main camera, and 45W charging support.
