Shenzhen’s well-known lighting company, Godox, has unveiled its new LC500 Mini-series LED stick lights. The series consists of two models: the LC500 Mini priced at 598 RMB ($82) and the LC500R Mini priced slightly higher at 698 RMB ($96).

The new LED lights prioritize portability with their compact design. Each light, inclusive of its handle, measures about 45cm in length and weighs in at 548g. The lights come with a removable 2470mAh battery handle, adding flexibility for users.

In terms of technical specifications, both stick lights have a power output of 20W. They can produce a brightness of up to 1580 Lux, ensuring they’re capable of delivering ample illumination for various shooting requirements. Moreover, photographers and videographers can adjust the color temperature between 2500K and 8500K, allowing for versatility in different lighting scenarios.

The LC500 Mini series has incorporated a convenient barn door, facilitating quick attachment and detachment. For those interested in diverse lighting effects, the two models differ slightly. The LC500 Mini boasts 11 built-in FX lighting effects. In contrast, the LC500R Mini offers a more expansive range with 15 FX lighting effects.

The LC500R Mini also stands out for its additional features. It’s apt for fill lighting in a variety of situations and uniquely offers both HSI and RGB modes, providing users with a broader palette of lighting colors and moods.

For those who prefer digital control and precise tuning, the LC500 Mini-series integrates with the Godox Light App. The lights are now for purchase in China from various e-commerce platforms.
