Chinese tech giant Xiaomi recently confirmed that it would be launching the next-generation Redmi Note 13 series later this week. The company has also confirmed the presence of three models in the series – Redmi Note 13 Pro, Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus, and Redmi Note 13 Yibo Edition. However, the company has been silent about the vanilla Redmi Note 13 which may be announced at a later date.

Chinese tech blogger Digital Chat Station has shared further details of the Redmi Note 13 series. The tipster confirmed that the models will be powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2. The new chipset will be built on Samsung 4nm silicon and features four large cores with a clock frequency of 2.4GHz as well as four energy-efficient cores clocked at 1.95GHz each. The chip is also equipped with an X62 modem and FastConnect 6700 connection system, as well as three 12-bit ISPs that support up to 200 MP shooting. The Octa-core chipset also pairs with an Adreno GPU.

The entire Redmi Note 13 series will also have an eye-protecting flexible screen without plastic brackets. The Redmi Note 13 Pro is said to feature a flat screen while the Note 13 Pro+ will reportedly pack a curved screen. For optics, the premium smartphones will be equipped with a 200-megapixel HP3 outsole sensor jointly customized by Samsung’s ISOCELL. The device will also feature an under-screen fingerprint sensor.

In addition, DigitalChatSattion also disclosed that the Note 13 Pro+ will also have a new opening in addition to the openings for microphone, speaker, and infrared remote control. There are also speculations that the Pro+ will equally come with IP68 dustproof and waterproof will be added.

We expect to find out the actual details of the Redmi Note 13 Pro series when it is announced on September 21.
