Google either can’t or doesn’t want to contain leaks. Like every year, the upcoming Pixel phones, the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro, have leaked so much that Google will just have to make a formal announcement on launch day (October 4th). Most recently, a fresh leak has even shared the Google Store pages of the upcoming phones, confirming much of what we already knew. It also reveals juicy details about the Pixel 8 Pro pre-orders.

According to the Google Store pages shared by Kamila Wojciechowska, the Pixel 8 Pro pre-orders will ship with a free Pixel Watch 2. It looks like the offer is only available for the Pro model. Google might have other plans for the vanilla Pixel 8’s pre-orders.

Pixel Watch 2 is launching on the same day as the Pixel 8 phones. The wearable is expected to bring several upgrades over its predecessor. For starters, it will bring new security features and use Fitbit’s stress management system that will use body-response tracking to detect stress in the user’s body. It will likely offer the same 24-hour battery life as the Pixel Watch.

As for the Pixel 8 Pro, it will get a 6.7-inch LTPO OLED display that offers QHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The device will be powered by a new Tensor G3 chipset along with up to 12 GB of RAM and up to 512 GB of storage. It is expected to feature a triple camera setup on the rear with a 50MP primary sensor, a 64MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 48MP telephoto shooter. As per a recent leak, the Pixel 8 Pro will start at $999 in the US.
