OPPO has launched a new A-series smartphone in the UAE market. It is dubbed the OPPO A18. The device is a budget offering with entry-level specifications. Notably the smartphone has almost the same specifications as the OPPO A38 that launched in multiple markets earlier this month. Read on to know what the OPPO A18 offers out of the box.
OPPO A18 specifications and features
The OPPO A18 has a waterdrop notch display measuring 6.56-inches. It features an HD+ resolution, 720 nits peak brightness, and a 90Hz refresh rate. There is a thick chin at the bottom of the screen. The back panel has a pill-shaped camera module and the power button doubles up as a fingerprint scanner.
In terms of imaging, the OPPO A18 has dual rear cameras. The setup comprises an 8MP main sensor paired with a 2MP depth lens. There is a 5MP front-facing selfie snapper.
Under the hood, the OPPO A18 is equipped with a MediaTek Helio G85 processor. It packs 4GB RAM along with 4GB virtual RAM. There is 128GB internal storage expandable via a microSD card slot. The smartphone draws its power from a 5,000mAh battery unit Software-wise, the device runs on ColorOS 13.1 based on Android 13 OS out of the box.
The OPPO A18 has connectivity options like USB-C port, 3.5mm headphone jack, 4G LTE, WiFi, Bluetooth, and GPS.
OPPO has not announced the pricing of the OPPO A18 in UAE. However, the device is listed on the official website in the country. The smartphone is offered in Glowing Black and Glowing Blue colors.
