Google will host a launch event on October 4 for the launch of its flagship Pixel 8 series smartphones and the Pixel Watch 2. We have previously reported in detail on what to expect from the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro in terms of specs, features, and pricing. Now, a new report has emerged revealing the pricing details of the Pixel Watch 2.
As per a new report from Dealabs, the Pixel Watch will be available in a WiFi-only variant and a 4G LTE variant. The WiFi-only model will cost 399 euros, whereas the 4G model will come with a 449 euros price tag. Compared to its predecessors, these smartwatches cost 20 euros more.
Pixel Watch 2 specs and features
The new watch will come with some nifty features. It will boast an improved heart rate monitor from Fitbit that offers more precise readings. It’s also capable of detecting stress levels and issuing warnings if it senses something’s wrong. Additionally, there’s a Safety Check feature that aims to confirm the user’s well-being. If the user doesn’t respond, their emergency contacts will receive information about their location.
The Pixel Watch 2 is getting some upgrades inside too. It’s getting a new Qualcomm W5+ Gen 1 chip that should make the battery last longer. The screen will be faster and there’s a new stress monitor too.
