Samsung has been teasing the arrival of new Fan Edition devices, such as the Galaxy S23 FE, the Galaxy Tab S9 series, and the Galaxy Buds FE TWS earbuds, in India for the past few days. Especially, the S23 FE is being teased with the “The New Epic” tagline. Today, the said device will be unveiled on Oct. 4 in the country.
Samsung Galaxy S23 FE specifications (expected)
As per reports, the Galaxy S23 Fan Edition is expected to come with a 6.3-inch FHD+ Dynamic AMOLED display featuring a 120Hz refresh rate. In some countries, Samsung will release the S23 FE with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 onboard, whereas the market will get its Exynos 2200 chipset variant. While there is no official confirmation yet, Samsung may release the Snapdragon variant of the S23 FE in India.
The S23 FE is expected to come preloaded with the Android 13-based One UI 5.1. Its rear camera setup will have a 50-megapixel primary sensor with OIS support, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide sensor, and a 12-megapixel telephoto lens offering 3x optical zoom. For selfies, it may feature a 10-megapixel front camera.
The Galaxy S23 FE is expected to offer other features, including an in-screen fingerprint scanner, a 4,500mAh battery with 25W fast charging and 15 wireless charging, as well as an IP rating. It is speculated that the 8GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB variants of the S23 FE will be priced at Rs 54,999 and Rs 59,999, respectively, in India.
There is a possibility that the Galaxy Tab S9 FE and Tab S9 FE Plus will also be announced on Oct. 4. The Galaxy Tab A9 and the Galaxy Buds FE are expected to debut on Oct. 5.
