According to a recent report that has surfaced online, Samsung has started releasing a September security patch for Galaxy S21 FE.

As per a recent report by SAMmobile, the update arrives on Galaxy S21 FE with the build version ending in EWH2 in the US. The security patch fixes over 62 security vulnerabilities found in the previous update. This update is mainly focused on security, so users are advised not to expect any new features or major performance improvements from this patch.

Furthermore, Samsung launched the Galaxy S21 FE in January 2022. The smartphone arrived with Android 12 pre-installed and was expected to receive four major Android updates. As we all are aware, the Android 14-based OS is currently in development by the company. It is highly likely that the Galaxy S21 FE will be one of the smartphones that will receive this major OS upgrade.

It is worth noting that the update is currently live in the US for the factory-unlocked version of Galaxy S21 FE. Those who are eligible for the update can head over to Settings > Software update > Download and Install to check for the update. We expect more devices to receive the security patch. So stay tuned.
