At the end of September, the Oppo A18 made its global debut in the UAE. A week later, this device has now reached India.
The product is an entry-level 4G-only smartphone. It can be considered a toned-down version of Oppo A58. That’s because both of them share the same design as well as the chipset.
But the A18 has a smaller display, a fewer-megapixel camera, and slower charging support. Let’s check out all the specs offered by this handset along with its pricing for India.
Oppo A18 Specifications
The Oppo A18 features a plastic body like any other budget smartphone. It is fitted with a 6.56-inch display (LCD) on the front. This screen has a resolution of 1612 x 720 pixels (HD+), a 90Hz refresh rate, 720 nits peak brightness level, and a dewdrop notch.
The phone is powered by a MediaTek Helio G85 SoC paired with LPDDR4x RAM and eMMC 5.1 storage. It boots ColorOS 13.1 based on Android 13.
Talking about cameras, there’s an 8MP primary sensor on the rear paired with a 2MP depth sensor. Whereas, a 5MP shooter sits inside the notch on the front.
The handset comes with a MicroSD card slot, a 3.5mm headphone jack, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and a USB Type-C port. Connectivity options on it include dual SIM, 5G, dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.3, and GNSS.
Last but not least, the device is IP54-rated (splash resistance) and draws energy from a 5,000mAh battery.
Oppo A18 Price in India
The Oppo A18 arrives in a single 4GB + 64GB memory configuration in India priced at ₹9,999 (~$120). It can be availed in either Glowing Black or Glowing Blue color options.
The product is up for sale across offline and online channels in the country.
