Honor Play 8T Pro Specifications as per TENAA

The new Honor’s mid-range smartphones will bundle a 6.7-inch IPS LCD display having Full HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. These specifications are identical to the Honor Play 7T Pro. Further, it will house an octa-core chipset coupling 2.4GHz clock speed. Unlike its predecessor, the smartphone will be available in four different RAM and storage configurations – 6/8/12/16 GB RAM and 128/256/512GB/1 TB Storage variants.

In the camera department, there will be a dual-rear camera module featuring a 108MP primary sensor and a 2MP secondary camera. There’s an 8MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calling.

The TENAA listing also confirms the presence of a 4500 mAh battery with 35W fast charging. In terms of capacity, the Honor increased the battery size but reduced the charging speed in comparison with the Honor Play 7T Pro’s 4000mAh battery and 40W fast charging support.

The new phone will come with Android 13-based Magic OS 7.2 skin on the top. It is expected to launch later this month in China.

Additionally, it could be some rebrand of the old Honor smartphone as the Honor Play 7T Pro is also the rebranded version of the Honor X40i which launched in July 2022.
