Infinix is reportedly working on a smartphone under its Smart series. The Smart 8 has already bagged TDRA and FCC certification. It was also spotted on the Geekbench benchmarking platform. Now the device has appeared on the Google Play Console certification website revealing its key specifications. The listings also hint at the imminent arrival of the smartphone. The Infinix Smart 8 is expected to be the successor to the Smart 7 that debuted earlier in February this year. 

Infinix Smart 8 Google Play Console

The Infinix Smart 8 is listed with model number X6525 on the Google Play Console certification website. The render reveals a centre-aligned punch-hole cutout display. The power and volume buttons are on the right side. The listing mentions that the device has a display resolution of 720 x 1,612 pixels and a screen density of 320 dpi. 

As per the listing, the Infinix Smart 8 has a Spreadtrum T606 processor comprising of two Cortex-A75 cores and six Cortex-A55 cores both clocked at 1.6GHz. The processor will be paired with 3GB RAM onboard. Software-wise, the smartphone will ship with Android 13 OS out of the box.

The Google Play Console listing does not reveal any additional details of the Infinix Smart 8. The FCC listing of the device revealed a 5,000mAh battery unit with support for 10W charging and 4G connectivity. Meanwhile, in the Geekbench’s single-core and multi-core tests, the smartphone scored 1532 and 5408 points respectively.
