iQOO has recently announced the launch date of its iQOO 12 and iQOO 12 Pro smartphones, which is set for Nov. 7 in the Chinese market. While it has been confirmed that these devices will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, other specifics about the phones are still under wraps. However, as the iQOO 12 lineup’s release approaches, various leaks are surfacing, providing insights into the phones’ specifications and design. Chinese tipsters have recently shared some key details about the iQOO 12.

iQOO 12 to offer enhanced gaming experience

As per the new leaks, the iQOO 12 will feature a 144Hz refresh rate display powered by a Q1 display processor, which is said to have hardware acceleration and ray tracing capabilities to achieve realistic lighting, reflections, and shadows, thereby achieving a greater immersive experience while gaming. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3-power device is said to feature the 1016 X-axis motor, which is said to be the largest linear motor ever used in an iQOO device and is nearly two times larger than previous models. For audiophiles, the device will be equipped with symmetrically arranged dual speakers.

In terms of design, the iQOO 12 will feature a right-angle metal middle frame and a plastic-free bracket. Previous leaks have claimed that it will offer IP64-rated dust and water resistance. These design upgrades suggest that the iQOO 12 will have a strong and durable build.
