Innovative Chinese car maker Xpeng has revealed its latest concept electric vehicle which is a Tesla Cybertruck look-alike. The six-wheel concept vehicle by the Chinese company also offers the ability to launch a flying car from its rear compartment.

Xpeng is an electric car startup firm with a growing portfolio of impressive concept vehicles. The latest offering is called the Land Aircraft Carrier is designed for use by emergency service providers operating in difficult terrain. It can be deployed to a variety of challenging scenarios such as mountain rescue. It has to be stated that although the Land Aircraft Carrier concept has a similar design to the Cybertruck, it is not a direct copy or clone of the Tesla powerhouse. It has flat sides, angular panels, and an unpainted steel finish similar to the Cybertruck.

The Xpeng Land Aircraft Carrier is a hybrid vehicle, unlike the Tesla Cybertruck which is fully electric. In addition to its electric architecture, it has an internal combustion engine. Its hybrid system makes it more versatile to operate in dangerous conditions. The rear hatch of the Land Aircraft Carrier, when opened, reveals a storage compartment for a flying car. The helicopter-style two-person aircraft can be deployed from the cargo area of the vehicle if needed in emergency situations.

The Xpeng Land Aircraft Carrier is the company’s fifth concept model in development. It has partnered with Volkswagen to develop EVs for the Chinese market. While the company has not stated any optics for the release of the Land Aircraft Carrier, it will be an important addition to its innovative portfolio.
