Xiaomi has debuted its first Redmi 13 series device in the global market starting with the launch of the Redmi 13C in Nigeria. The device was previously spotted on Amazon US.

Redmi 13C specs

The Redmi 13C features a 6.74-inch LCD panel with an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels and a 90Hz refresh rate. It is powered by the MediaTek Helio G85 chipset and can be configured with up to 8 GB of RAM.

The Redmi 13C runs on Android 13 with MIUI 14 and offers a camera setup with a 50-megapixel main camera, a 2-megapixel depth camera, and a 2-megapixel macro camera on the rear. It also includes an 8-megapixel front-facing camera. Storage options go up to 256 GB, and it supports up to 4 GB of virtual RAM and expandable storage via a MicroSD card slot.

The device houses a 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support and a side-facing fingerprint scanner for security. The Redmi 13C offers dual SIM support and connectivity options like 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, a USB-C port, and a 3.5mm audio jack. It comes in a slim and lightweight package, measuring 168 x 78 x 8.09mm and weighing 192 grams, making it a practical smartphone.

Pricing & availability

The Xiaomi Redmi 13C is now available for purchase in Nigeria, and it comes in two color options: Black and Clover Green. The base variant with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage is priced at NGN 98,100 (~122), while the higher-end variant with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage is priced at NGN 108,100 (~$135).
