Chinese smartphone manufacturer Honor is expected to launch a new device called the Honor X8B soon. This device will follow in the footsteps of the Honor X9B which made its debut last month in the UAE.

The X8B has now made an appearance on Singapore’s IMDA certification website with the model number LLY-LX2. While detailed specifications remain scarce, we can expect some information to be revealed as the device emerges on other certification websites.

In related news, the Honor X9B was spotted on the BIS certification database, indicating its impending release in the Indian market, marking Honor’s second return to the subcontinent.

Here’s a brief overview of the Honor X9B’s specifications: It boasts a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 1.5K screen resolution, a 120 Hz refresh rate, and 1.07 billion colors. It is powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC, paired with the Adreno A710 GPU, and runs on MagicOS 7.2, based on Android 13. The device comes in two variants: 8GB of RAM with 256GB of storage and a higher-end 12GB RAM with 256GB of storage.

The camera setup includes a 108MP primary camera, a 5MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP macro camera, while the front side features a 16MP selfie camera. It is equipped with a 5800mAh battery that supports 35W wired fast charging.
