Meizu is reportedly gearing up to launch its next-generation flagship smartphone series, the Meizu 21. A new Meizu device with the model number M461Q has been spotted on the 3C Certification website, which is believed to be the standard version of the Meizu 21.
The 3C Certification listing reveals that the Meizu 21 will support 80W charging, which is a decent upgrade over the 67W charging supported by the Meizu 20.
The power adapter bears the model number UP2040 and supports charging at the following modes — 15W (5V/3A), 27W (9V/3A), 66W (11V/6A), and 80W (20V/4A).
Other details about the Meizu 21 are still scarce, but previous reports have suggested that the standard model is said to have a 4,800mAh battery, while the Pro model could have a 5,020mAh battery.
The device will likely be powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and will feature a vertical camera stack with an RGB ring LED flash. The Meizu 21 is also expected to feature a flat display with relatively thin bezels.
The Meizu 21 Pro with model number M481S was recently spotted in China’s radio certification, which suggests that the Meizu 21 series could launch by the end of 2023.
