Back in October, Vivo announced the new TWS Air 2 earbuds in its home market of China. Now, it appears that the company is planning on rolling out the hearables product globally, so here are all the details.

Vivo TWS Air 2 surfaces on SDPPI certification

Ahead of any official announcement, the Chinese tech giant’s TWS Air 2 earbuds were spotted on the SDPPI certification in Indonesia. The database reveals that the earbuds carry the model number “CAR W29”. Unfortunately, no finer details like its specifications or global pricing were revealed. However, this does mean that the earbuds will be launched outside of China.

Vivo announced the hearables for a price tag of 149 Yuan (roughly 20 US Dollars). The Vivo TWS Air 2 features a semi in-ear design and houses 14.2mm audio drivers. These earbuds support DeepX 3.0 stereo sound effects, 3D panoramic audio, 55ms low latency, Bluetooth 5.3 with a 10 meter range, and AI call noise reduction. The earbuds were released in two color options, namely Night Blue and Morning White.

The company promises to offer up to 30 hours of battery life on a single full charge with the earbuds alone lasting for 6 hours. Other notable features include a USB Type-C port, an IP54 rating for dust and water protection, and various Bluetooth codec support (AAC, SBC, and LC3).
