Redmi is expected to launch the K70 series smartphones by the end of this month. Recently, the standard K70 model was spotted in leaked render giving a clear look at the device. Details about the K70 series have leaked numerous times. Now, ahead of the launch, the Redmi K70 has appeared on the Geekbench benchmarking platform reveals its hardware.

On Geekbench, the Redmi K70 has a model number 2311DRK48C. The database listing mentions a motherboard codenamed ‘duchamp’ comprising four cores clocked at 2.20GHz, three cores at 3.20GHz, and a prime core at 3.35GHz. It’s likely that the processor configuration and motherboard codename correspond to the MediaTek’s Dimensity 8300 chipset which is set to be announced later this month. As per the benchmarking platform, the upcoming smartphone will pack 16GB RAM onboard. It will ship with pre-loaded Android 14 OS out of the box. 

The Redmi K70 scores 1,248 and 4,177 points in Geekbench’s single-core and multi-core test results. 

Previously, the Redmi K70 with the same model number surfaced on the 3C certification website in China. It revealed support for 90W fast charging and 5G connectivity. The smartphone is expected to be backed by a 5,000mAh battery unit. As per the leaked render of the Redmi K70, it will feature a POCO-like rectangular camera island housing three cameras and an LED flash unit that protrudes more. The device has a flat display with a center-aligned punch-hole cutout and thin bezels around the screen.
