Xiaomi is reportedly working on a gaming laptop, the TM2211 model, which has surfaced on Geekbench with two processor variants: the i9-14900HX and the i5-14500HX.
Currently, it’s unclear whether this new TM2211 laptop will be part of Xiaomi’s Redmi G series or mark the relaunch of the Xiaomi gaming laptop series.

The more powerful i9-14900HX model stands out with its 24-core processor, consisting of 8 big cores and 16 small cores. This configuration indicates a robust performance potential, especially for demanding gaming and multitasking scenarios. In contrast, the i5-14500HX version is slightly more modest, equipped with 6 big cores and 8 small cores, catering to users who might seek a balance between performance and cost.
Intel’s 14th-generation HX processors, as used in these models, are essentially high-frequency versions of the 13th-generation HX series. They maintain the same architecture and manufacturing process.
These HX series processors are typically used in gaming laptops, known for their need for high processing power, and are often paired with discrete graphics cards. However, the specific details about the discrete graphics model in Xiaomi’s new laptop remain undisclosed on the Geekbench platform. While there’s no concrete information, speculations point towards the inclusion of an Nvidia GPU, likely from the GeForce RTX 40 Mobile series according to Gadgettendency.
According to the listing, the tested version includes 16GB of DDR5 RAM, however, Xiaomi might offer configurations with even more substantial RAM for users who demand even higher performance.
