Xiaomi‘s sub-brand Redmi has officially announced the launch date for the Redmi K70 series. The new lineup, set to debut on November 29, will comprise three smartphones — the Redmi K70, Redmi K70E, and Redmi K70 Pro.

Xiaomi has already revealed key specifications for the Redmi K70E, confirming that it will be powered by the Dimensity 8300-Ultra processor and pack a 5,500mAh battery with 90W fast charging capabilities. Additionally, the K70E will boast a 12-bit 1.5K display with a peak brightness of 1,800 nits.

The top-of-the-line Redmi K70 Pro is now confirmed to be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset in a new teaser. Xiaomi has also announced a new ice-cooling system for the smartphone, which reportedly utilizes new self-developed heat-dissipation materials.

Redmi is also emphasizing the smartphone’s AI capabilities. Similar to the K70E, the Pro model is also expected to incorporate generative AI capabilities, enabling users to create sentences and images using prompts.

While the exact SoC for the base Redmi K70 remains unconfirmed, a recent leak suggests that it will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.
