Samsung launched the Galaxy A05 and A05s in the global market two months ago. The latter also arrived in India last month. Now, the South Korean brand has introduced the Galaxy A05 in the country. The latest offering is slightly a toned-down version of the A05s. It carries a budget price tag under the Rs 13,000 segment. Read on to know what the device offers out of the box. 

Samsung Galaxy A05 specifications and features

The Samsung Galaxy A05 has an Infinity-U display measuring 6.7 inches and an HD+ resolution. It lacks a fingerprint scanner and instead relies on face unlock via the 8MP selfie snapper on the front. The device has a dual rear camera setup of a 50MP main sensor and a 2MP depth lens. 

Under the hood, the Samsung Galaxy A05 is equipped with a MediaTek Helio G85 processor. It packs up to 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. There is a microSD card slot for additional storage needs. The smartphone draws its power from a 5,000mAh battery unit with support for 25W fast charging. Software-wise, it runs on Android 13-based OneUI 5.1 Core out of the box. 

Connectivity options on the Samsung Galaxy A05 include 4G, dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.3, and a USB-C port. 

The Samsung Galaxy A05 costs Rs 9,999 for the base 4GB + 64GB option whereas the 6GB + 128GB model is priced at Rs 12,999. It is offered in in Light Green, Black, and Silver colors. The smartphone can be purchased from Croma but should be available for purchase through authorized retailers soon.
