Samsung has begun rolling out the Android 14 OS based One UI 6 custom skin update for the Galaxy Z Fold 5. The latest software upgrade is currently being released in Singapore, so here are all the details.
Samsung rolls out One UI 6 Update for Galaxy Z Fold 5
The South Korean tech giant started releasing the One UI 6 update for its flagship Galaxy S23 series in SOuth Korea last month. Now, the brand has begun the broader roll out of the major update for other devices as well. The One UI 6 stable build is currently available on the Galaxy Z Fold 5. A user on Samsung’s community page shared that his Galaxy Z Fold 5 has received the update in Singapore.
As per the official description, the new update brings changes in the UI like a reworked quick settings panel for easier access among other features. Users are even getting an enhanced Home screen along with brand new emoji designs. Samsung also promises that One UI 6 is bringing other improvements to help improve users’ Galaxy experience. Notably, the company even released the update for the Verizon activated Galaxy Z Fold 5 in the US.
To check if you’ve received the update, head to “Settings”, then look for the “Software Update” menu. After this, check if the update is available on your device then tap on “Download and Install” to get the latest update. It is unknown if the Galaxy Z Flip 5 has also received the update in the region, so stick around for more updates regarding this matter.
