Xiaomi is set to launch its Redmi K70 series smartphones on November 29. Alongside these smartphones, the company will also be unveiling the Redmi Book 14/16 (2024) laptop.
The 16-inch model will be a long-overdue update for Redmi’s 16-inch laptop, as the company last unveiled the Redmi Book 16 in 2020.
The teaser shared by Xiaomi on Weibo shows the laptop’s design, which is similar to previous Redmi laptops. The teaser also confirms that the laptop will have two USB Type-A ports on the right side, one USB Type-A port, one HDMI port, one headphone jack, and one Type-C port.
Xiaomi is also teasing the Redmi Book 16 (2024) as the most powerful productivity machine in its price range. The laptop will also feature seamless connectivity with Xiaomi’s new PaperOS.
There’s not much else known about the Redmi Book 16 (2024) at this time. However, we can expect to learn more about the laptop when it is officially launched on November 29th.
To recap, the Redmi Book 16 boasts a 16.1-inch FHD full HD screen with a stunning resolution of 1920×1080, a remarkable screen-to-body ratio of 90%, and an impressive contrast ratio of 1000:1.
Its vibrant display also supports a 100% sRGB wide color gamut and delivers a brightness of 300nits (typical value).
Likewise, the port options include 1 x USB 3.1, 1 x USB 2.0, 1 x USB-C, 1 x USB-C, an HDMI port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Powered by a 46Wh battery, the laptop comes with 65W charging.
