Meizu is preparing to announce its latest flagship smartphone, the Meizu 21, in China soon. But prior to the announcement, a new teaser was shared, which compares the device’s camera to Samsung’s top end Galaxy S23 Ultra model.
Meizu 21 camera is faster than the Galaxy S23 Ultra?
The Chinese smartphone maker claims that the 200-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL HP3 primary sensor on the back of the Meizu 21 can outperform the Galaxy S23 Ultra. Meizu claims that the Meizu 21 has an imaging speed that is around 40 percent higher than Samsung’s flagship. For those unaware, the Meizu 21 is set to launch on November 30 in China.
The device is currently listed for pre-orders, with over 250,000 units already reserved. In a recent leak, the specifications of the Meizu 21 and its color options were revealed. Based on what we know so far, the smartphone will be equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC that will be paired with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. The device will also come with Meizu’s OneMind 10.5 AI engine, a new cooling mechanism, and a dedicated game mode.
On the front, the device sports a 6.55-inch Samsung OLED display, with thin 1.74mm bezels on all sides. The screen also houses Ultrasonic Fingerprint Unlock 2.0 and a center aligned punch hole cutout for the selfie camera. A 4,800mAh battery pack will power this device.
