In the last few days, a host of Samsung phones including the S21 series, Z Fold 5, Z Flip 5, A34 5G, S23 FE, and A54 have received the stable OneUI 6.0-based Android 14 update. It’s evident that the latest software version has been rolling out to eligible devices in quick succession. Now two more devices of the South Korean brand specifically in the Galaxy A series are getting the update. Notably, one of the phones is a budget offering. Read on to know more below. 

Samsung Galaxy A73, A14 5G getting Android 14

The two Galaxy A series phones receiving the current OneUI 6.0-based Android 14 update are the Galaxy A73 5G and Galaxy A14 5G. Users in multiple regions are reporting that the latest software version for the Galaxy A73 5G has the firmware number A736BXXU5DWK2. The update also includes the November security patch and it weighs 3GB in size. The smartphone was launched last year. 

Another Galaxy A series device to get the latest software update is the Galaxy A14 5G which is a budget offering in the sub-$200 segment. The build version for the device is A146BXXU2CWK9 and the update is roughly 1.8GB in size. It also brings the November security patch. The Galaxy A14 5G debuted in the global markets earlier this year. 

It goes without saying that the latest OneUI 6.0-based Android 14 update is rolling out to the Samsung Galaxy A73 5G and A14 5G in a phased manner. Hence, not everybody may get it and it might take a few days to become available to users in all markets. 

The latest Android 14 update is said to be the biggest from the brand. It comes with UI changes including a redesigned quick settings panel, enhanced home screen, and more.
