Vivo is gearing up to launch its latest smartphone series, the Vivo S18, in China on December 14th. The lineup will include three models: the Vivo S18e, S18, and S18 Pro. And while we’re still a few weeks away from the official unveiling, a new leak from Digital Chat Station has shed some light on the specs of the top-tier model, the Vivo S18 Pro.

Vivo S18 Pro Specifications (Rumored)

According to the informant, the Vivo S18 Pro will feature a 6.78-inch curved OLED display with a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It’ll also have a 50MP selfie camera tucked away in a centered punch-hole cutout.

On the back, you’ll find a triple-camera setup headlined by a 50MP Sony IMX920 sensor – the same one used in the Vivo X100. Joining the main lens is a 50MP ISOCELL JN1 sensor for ultrawide shots and a 12MP Sony IMX663 sensor for telephoto with up to 2x optical zoom. And to add a touch of flair, there’s an Aura light below the camera block.

Vivo has confirmed that the S18 Pro will be powered by the Dimensity 9200+ chipset. The phone is also said to pack a 5,000mAh battery with support for 80W fast charging. On the software front, the smartphone is expected to run Android 14 OS with Origin OS 4 on top.

As teased earlier, the Vivo S18 Pro will be available in three color options: Black, Green, and Blue. Additionally, the Vivo S18 series is said to be equipped with Vivo’s new Blue Heart AI model with six billion parameters, which can enhance the portrait photography experience and more.

The Vivo S18 series will launch in China on December 14. Availability details for regions outside of China are still under wraps, but it’s likely that the Vivo S18 series will be rebranded as the Vivo V30 series globally.
