To snag the update, ensure your phone is on version CPH2357_13.1.0.590(EX01)/CPH2357_13.1.0.600(EX01). Applying is a breeze – just head to Settings > About device > Tap the top of the page > Tap the icon on the top right > Trial versions > Official version > Apply Now. Once done, detect and download the update.

Before you dive in, back up your crucial data to avoid any potential loss during the update. Post-update, the Operating System might do some automatic optimizations, causing temporary heating, lagging, or faster battery draining. No worries – either turn off the screen and charge overnight or keep using the device; things should normalize within a few days.

Heads up: Some third-party apps might not play nice with Android 14 post-update, leading to unavailability or technical glitches like lagging and crashing. Quick fix – update these apps to the latest versions available in the App Market.

In other updates, Oppo has announced its schedule for a stable release of ColorOS 14 set for December. The stable update for the Reno 10 Pro+ has been launched today, and smartphones such as the F23 5G, A78 5G, and Reno 7 are expected to receive the Android 14 update in the upcoming days.
