Samsung is finally rolling out the Android 14 OS update for the Galaxy F34 5G model in India. The software upgrade brings the One UI 6 custom skin and also marks the first major update for the smartphone since its official release.

For those unaware, the Samsung Galaxy F34 5G was first launched in India back in August 2023. The South Korean tech giant recently released the Android 14 OS update for the Galaxy M34. Now, the One UI 6 update is making its way to the Galaxy F34 5G model. The latest update carries the build version E346BXXU2BWL1/E346BODM2BWL1/E346BXXU2BWL1. Users can expect to see a big download size for this update, which crosses the 2GB mark.

Apart from the latest iteration of Android, the new software upgrade also features the November 2023 security patch for the smartphone. You can head to Settings to check if your device has received the new update. One UI 6 brings a revamped Quick Settings panel, improved Home Screen widgets, brand new emojis, new customization options for the lock screen, a new media player widget, a fresh default font, and more features.

To recall, the Samsung Galaxy F34 5G sports a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED display that offers Full HD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 1000 nits of peak brightness, and Corning’s Gorilla Glass 5. Under the hood, the device is equipped with the Exynos 1280 SoC that is paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. A large 6,000mAh battery pack powers this handset. The rear packs a 50-megapixel triple camera setup, while the front houses a 13-megapixel selfie shooter. Other notable features include a microSD card slot, a 3.5mm headphone jack, a side mounted fingerprint scanner, and 25W fast charging.
