Honor has officially announced a partnership with the legendary design house Porsche Design. The partnership was revealed through a poster shared on Honor’s Weibo handle, China’s popular social media platform.

The poster features the logos of both brands alongside the slogan “Born to be Pioneers.” Honor also shared a message, translated as:

Honor announces partnership with Porsche Design.

“When Honor’s innovative technology meets Porsche’s classic design, it will be a collision #bornforpioneers. We look forward to writing new legends and creating new classics together.”

This partnership marks a new chapter for Porsche Design, which previously collaborated with Huawei for several years. From the Mate 9 series to the Mate 50 flagships, Porsche Design’s signature aesthetic graced some of Huawei’s most premium devices. However, Huawei’s recent shift towards its “Ultimate Design” philosophy led to the conclusion of their partnership this year.

Now, Honor has stepped in to take the reins. Rumors have it that the Magic 6 series will be the first device from Honor to feature Porsche Design. Leaks also suggest that the upcoming Magic V3 foldable might follow suit.

Speaking of the Magic 6 series, it’s expected to arrive early next year. Rumors suggest three models in the lineup. The exact names of these devices are still under wraps, but following past trends, they might be called the Honor Magic 6, Magic 6 Pro, and Magic 6 Ultimate.

Moreover, a special Porsche Design edition, based on the Ultimate model, is already rumored to be in the works. All three are expected to boast a quad-curved display with a dual punch-hole camera cutout in the center.

The Pro and standard models are said to have a circular camera island, while the Ultimate model might sport a more sophisticated square design.

We’re awaiting more details about these smartphones in the coming days. We will keep you posted on this.
