The new app has paved the way for hundreds of Xbox games to Quest headset, all the user needs is Xbox Game Pass Ultimate Subscription.

Meta Quest VR can be paired with the Xbox Controller, Play Station 4 controller, Nintendo Switch Pro, or Play Station 5 (in the future) to enjoy the new gaming experience. The Xbox cloud gaming app is freely available from the Meta Quest Store. However, the users must update their respective headsets to the latest Quest software version to enjoy the new collaboration.

The users can enjoy high-quality games like Starfield and Forza Motorsport on the Quest VR without any requirement for a TV or a gaming console. The users can play the games virtually anywhere, with the availability of four different sizes and different Meta’s Quest VR models. Thanks to the Qualcomm Snapdragon XR2, the Meta recommends Quest 3 or Pro for better stereoscopic full-color passthrough.

Steps to Get Xbox Cloud Games on Meta Quest VR

To enjoy the Xbox Cloud Games on the Quest headset, the users should pair the supported controller with the Quest headset, then log in to the Microsoft account having the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscriber.

It is a step towards a broader collaboration between both companies to bring Microsoft Teams, Office, and the Windows Experience to VR. Meta recently introduced a new image generator that is trained on 1.1 billion social media photos. The company is also focusing on bringing protective measures to enhance user privacy. Even Microsoft Teams is coming in 3D for a VR meeting experience next year.
