In the last few days, a host of Motorola’s upcoming G-series phones have surfaced in leaked renders. These include the G04, G24, G24 Power, and G34. Now, a new phone from the Lenovo-owned brand has emerged in leaked renders revealing its design. The device is the Moto G 5G (2024) and it is expected to arrive as the successor to last year’s G 5G (2023). The information is shared by reliable tipster Onleaks.

Moto G 5G (2024) leaked renders

In terms of design, the Moto G 5G (2024) isn’t any different compared to the other G-series phones that leaked recently. The Lenovo-owned brand seems to be making the design language mainstream on next year’s Moto G devices.

The Moto G 5G (2024) has a boxy design with the volume rocker and power buttons located on the right edge. The latter is expected to double up as a fingerprint scanner. The back panel seems to have a matte finish and it houses a rectangular camera module touching the side edges. It also elevates slightly resembling the design found on the Find X6 and Reno 8-series phones. The center of the back panel has the iconic Moto batwing-like logo.

Coming to the front, the Moto G 5G (2024) is seen with a centre-aligned punch-hole cutout and a slightly thicker chin. However, the overall bezels surrounding the display are quite thin. The tipster added that the device will feature a 6.5-inch display. We could notice a USB-C port, speaker grille, and a 3.5mm jack located at the bottom of the smartphone. Dimension-wise, the Moto G 5G (2024) will measure 164.4 x 74.9 x 8.2mm.
