Samsung has recently rolled out the OneUI 6.0 update for Galaxy S21 FE models locked to US carriers, as well as for the global market’s Galaxy S21 FE Snapdragon 888 variant. The smartphone giant has now initiated the deployment of the Android 14 update for the Exynos variant of the Galaxy S21 FE in India.

The update arrives with firmware version G990EXXU7FWK6/ G990EODM7FWK5/ G990EXXU7FWK5 and carries the December 2023 security patch alongside the Android 14-based One UI 6. It is 2235MB in size. You can expect the One UI 6 update to bring the following changes to your Galaxy S21 FE.

  • Auto Blocker, which is an extra layer of protection preventing unknown apps from installing, checking malware, and blocking malicious commands from being sent via a USB connection.
  • Customizable Bixby text call greetings and the option to switch to Bixby text call at any time, even during a call.
  • More accessibility features, including new magnification options and custom cursor thickness options.

To see if the Android 14 OS update is ready for your smartphone, navigate to Settings, then go to Software Update. Check for updates and proceed to Download and Install if the update is available.
