In an earlier report, we had also covered leaked renders of the device, which showcased its rugged design. This revealed a lone camera on the rear along with a dual tone LED flash module. Based on what we know so far, the Galaxy XCover 7 is basically a rebranded Galaxy A55 that features MIL-STD-810H standards for drop resistance and shock absorption. It is expected to offer an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance. To recall, the Galaxy A55 5G is equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ SoC that is paired with 6GB of RAM.

The device will likely run on Android 14 OS based One UI custom skin out of the box. The Bluetooth SIG certification confirmed support for Bluetooth 5.3 as well. Samsung might be aiming for a Q1 2024 launch timeframe for the Galaxy XCover 7. Unfortunately, key details like pricing and availability are still unclear. So stick around for more as we will be providing more updates when additional information is available regarding this matter.
