Alongside the launch of the Honor 90 GT smartphone, the brand also announced a new tablet. It is dubbed the Honor Pad 9. The latest offering is the follow-up to the Honor Pad 8 that debuted last year. The device arrives with significant upgrades compared to its predecessor. Notably, the tablet has a similar design like the OnePlus Pad and OPPO Pad 2. Let’s take a look at the Honor Pad 9 below.

The Honor Pad 9 features a 12.1–inch screen with symmetrical bezels on all four sides. It has a paper-like display with a matte finish. The LCD panel offers a resolution of 2,560 x 1,600 pixels. 550 nits peak brightness, and an 88 percent screen-to-body ratio. It also features a 120Hz refresh rate. The device is claimed to eliminate 98 percent of reflected light for a glare-free viewing experience. The tablet is also compatible with stylus and keyboard. 

On the imaging front, the Honor Pad 9 has a circular camera module on the back panel. It houses a 13MP sensor and there is an 8MP selfie snapper. The device is equipped with eight speakers. 

Under the hood, the Honor Pad 9 is powered by a Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 processor. The chipset is coupled with up to 12GB RAM and 512GB storage. The tablet is backed by an 8,300mAh battery unit with support for 35W fast charging. Software-wise, it runs on MagicOS 7.2-based on Android 13 out of the box. 

The Honor Pad 9 can be availed in Azure, White, and Gray color options. It starts at CNY 1,499 (~$209) for the 8GB + 256GB variant. The 12GB + 256GB and 12GB + 512GB options are priced at CNY 1,999 (~$279) and CNY 2,199 (~$307).
