Xiaomi has launched the Mijia Smart Dehumidifier 13L, now available on JD.com, is designed for quiet and efficient moisture control. The product is priced at 799 Yuan ($112) at its retail price but is currently available at a discounted price of 749 Yuan ($105) for pre-orders. Let’s delve into the key specs of this smart product.

Mijia Smart Dehumidifier weighs 11.1 kilograms and features hidden wheels for easy mobility. It has a daily dehumidification capacity of 13 liters and operates quietly at 35 dB to minimize disturbance. The device includes a spacious 3L water tank, reducing the frequency of emptying. Additionally, its 360-degree wide-angle air outlet ensures extensive coverage, allowing for continuous operation for up to 10 hours.
In terms of design and construction, the dehumidifier features a 7-layer noise reduction system, including a brushless motor for energy efficiency and low noise, biomimetic fan blades for softer wind noise, and vibration-reducing elements like sheet metal reinforcement and compressor vibration isolation pads. Additionally, it has an antibacterial filtration system with an antibacterial rate of ≥99%, ensuring healthy air quality.
The dehumidifier is also equipped with 12 safety protections, including auto shutdown when the water tank is full, smart frost detection, compressor protection, over-temperature protection, child lock, motor blockage protection, power loss memory, overload power off, lack of refrigerant protection, filter cleaning reminder, fire resistance, and 8-hour continuous operation protection.
Testing under standard conditions showed that the dehumidifier’s actual capacity is 13,302L/D at 30°C and 80% RH. In a 25m2 room, it can significantly reduce humidity in 90 minutes. Its noise level in sleep mode is measured at 34.1 dB(A), providing a quiet environment for users.
This smart device integrates seamlessly with the MI Home App and Xiao Ai voice assistant, allowing users to schedule operations, remotely control the unit, and switch between various dehumidification modes, including smart, drying, and sleep modes. The smart mode can be customized through the app, adjusting humidity levels between 40% and 70% RH.
Earlier today, Xiaomi also launched the Mijia Dual-Core Water Purifier 1200G Pro which can fill a cup in just 3 seconds and comes with a price tag of 3299 Yuan ($461).
