OPPO has officially rolled out the ColorOS 14 x Android 14 version for OPPO A57 users in India. This update comes after the brand updated the OPPO A77 and A77s in India.
How to Get the Upgrade:
Starting from December 21st, users can apply for the ColorOS 14 update through a straightforward process. Ensure your phone is up to speed with the detectable version: CPH2387_13.1.1.550(EX01)/CPH2387_13.1.1.403(EX01).
Must-Knows for a Seamless Update:
Before diving into the update, OPPO recommends users back up essential data to prevent any unexpected losses. Post-update, the operating system will optimize your device, which might initially result in some heat, lag, or faster battery draining. Not to worry—OPPO advises users to either let the device rest overnight while charging or continue regular usage, assuring a return to normalcy within a few days.
A Heads Up on Third-Party Apps:
While the ColorOS 14 brings a fresh feel to your device, some third-party applications may face compatibility issues. Users are encouraged to update these apps to their latest versions from the App Market to avoid potential glitches like lagging or crashing.
How to Apply:
Getting your hands on ColorOS 14 is a breeze. Navigate to Settings > About device > Tap the top of the page > Tap the icon on the top right > Trial versions > Official version > Apply Now. Following this, detect the update and hit ‘Download Now’ to experience the latest and greatest features.
Before the year ends, Oppo will launch a stable Android 14 update for some more devices including the Find X3 Pro (India, Malaysia, Thailand), Reno 10 Pro 5G (India), Reno 8 5G (India).
