OnePlus is set to unveil the OnePlus 12 and 12R smartphones in the global markets on January 23. The upcoming number series flagship has already debuted in China, hence the global variant is also expected to pack the same specifications. Meanwhile, the brand is teasing the OnePlus Ace 3 (12R) and Buds 3’s features ahead of their launch in the home country on January 4. Now, the OnePlus 12 (review) and 12R’s variants and color options for the Indian market have leaked ahead of the launch. 

OnePlus 12, 12R’s variants, color options leaked

Industry tipster Ishan Agarwal reveals that the OnePlus 12R will start at 8GB + 128GB RAM and storage configuration. It will also be offered in 16GB + 256GB variant. This is the same as its predecessor i.e. the OnePlus 11R. The upcoming offering will come in Iron Grey and Cool Blue colors. 

Meanwhile, the flagship OnePlus 12’s base model will now pack 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. This is a much-welcome move since the OnePlus 11 was launched above the Rs 50,000 segment with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. Additionally, the forthcoming OnePlus 12 will also be available in a 16GB + 512GB storage configuration. While the RAM remains unchanged, the storage is doubled from 256GB on its predecessor. The device will be offered in Flowy Emerald and Silky Black color options. 

The OnePlus 12 is a premium flagship smartphone whereas the OnePlus 12R (a rebadged Ace 3) is expected to be a mid-range offering. As per a recent leak, the former is expected to have a starting price between Rs 58,000 to Rs 60,000 whereas the OnePlus 12R may start between Rs 40,000 to Rs 42,00.
