MSI is set to release the TITAN 18 HX laptop, targeting the enthusiast-class gaming laptop segment with a focus on feature-rich design and high performance.
MSI TITAN 18 HX specs:
MSI has officially confirmed a 400W power supply for the TITAN 18 HX, reflecting the robust power requirements of this gaming laptop. The 18-inch 4K+ Mini-LED display features a 120Hz refresh rate, 1000 nits peak brightness, and VESA DisplayHDR 1000 certification. Additional features include a 6-speaker Dynaudio audio system and an RGB backlight mechanical keyboard by Cherry MX.
The TITAN 18 HX will be powered by the Intel 14th Gen Core-HX processor, featuring a 24-core Core i9-14900HX processor with a boost clock of up to 5.8 GHz. It will be available in two variants, one with a GeForce RTX 4090 and the other with a GeForce RTX 4080.
A notable upgrade on this year’s model is the introduction of a new 270W TDP mode for combined CPU and GPU power, offering a significant 40W power increase compared to its predecessor. This upgrade allows the CPU to sustain higher clock speeds during extended gaming sessions.
Additional specifications include support for up to 128 GB of DDR5 RAM, Wi-Fi 7, up to 4 TB storage, a 99.9 Wh battery, two Thunderbolt ports, and a 400W power supply included in the box. The MSI TITAN 18 HX will likely be unveiled for the global market at CES 2024.
