As scheduled, Motorola has launched its first product of 2024 in India. The device, which is officially called Moto G34 5G, is a budget 5G smartphone.

It initially went official in China before Christmas. India is the first international market to receive this handset.

The Moto G34 5G features a plastic build like most budget smartphones. But one of the color variants has a vegan leather finish on the back. Also, it is IP52-rated for splash resistance.

The device is built around a 6.5-inch centered punch-hole display. The panel offers an HD+ resolution (1600 x 720 pixels) and a 120Hz refresh rate.

Under the hood, the handset houses a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 SoC. The chipset is paired with LPDDR4x RAM and UFS 2.2 storage. As for software, it boots the latest Android 14.

The phone sports a dual-camera setup on the rear comprising a 50MP primary sensor and a 2MP macro snapper. On the front, it has a 16MP selfie camera.

Other features of the device include Dolby Atmos-supported dual stereo speakers, a MicroSD card slot, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and Ready For (only on the 8GB RAM variant).

Last but not least, the smartphone draws energy from a 5,000mAh battery and supports 18W charging.

The Motorola Moto G34 5G arrives in the following two memory configurations.

  • 4GB + 128GB – ₹10,999 (~$130)
  • 8GB + 128GB – ₹11,999 (~$145)

The phone can be availed in either Ice Blue, Charcoal Black, or Ocean Green (vegan leather) color options. It will be available for purchase starting January 17 via Flipkart and leading retail stores.
