OnePlus has started pushing out the OxygenOS 14.0.0.300 update for the global users of the Nord N20 SE smartphone with some significant changes. The update comes with firmware version CPH2469_14.0.0.300(EX01)

- Smart efficiency: Adds File Dock, allowing users to drag and drop content between apps and devices, and improves photo and video-related permission management for safer access by apps.
- Performance Optimization: Enhances system stability, app launch speed, and animation smoothness.
- Aquamorphic Design: Introduces Aquamorphic-themed ringtones, revamps system notification sounds, and improves system animations.
- User Care: Removes the Background stream feature in Smart Sidebar and suggests users to provide feedback directly in the thread. The company is also working on a better method to submit feedback in the Community.
As usual, the update will be arriving in batches, so users should get the OTA notification by the end of the week. Users can also check for the updates manually by heading to System Settings > About Device > Software Update > Check for Updates.
In related news, OnePlus is gearing up for the global debut of the OnePlus 12 flagship smartphone. The launch will be held on January 23 across various regions. It will also include the OnePlus 12R, which is the rebrand of the recently launched OnePlus Ace 3. Alongside the smartphones, the brand will also be launching the premium OnePlus Buds 3 TWS earbuds.
