CD Projekt Red, the company behind the famous Witcher video games, is working on something big. They’re starting to make a new trilogy in the Witcher series, called “Polaris.” This news comes straight from Adam Badowski, one of the new joint CEOs of the company. They’re planning to have about 400 people working on this project by the middle of this year.

The Witcher series has been a huge hit, with more than 75 million games sold since the first one came out in 2007. But there’s no release date yet for this new game. Experts think it might come out around 2026 or 2027.
Meanwhile, CD Projekt Red is also thinking about their next steps after “Cyberpunk 2077,” which had a lot of problems when it first came out. They’ve fixed a lot of those issues, and now more than 25 million copies have been sold. They’re even talking about making a sequel to Cyberpunk, called “Orion.” Right now, it’s just in the early planning stages.
The company is also considering adding multiplayer features to their games, but they haven’t shared many details about that yet. They’re also looking into using artificial intelligence (AI) to help make games, but they don’t think AI will take over from people.
After the tough launch of Cyberpunk, CD Projekt Red learned a lot. Badowski said they’re now better at managing how they make games. They want to make sure they don’t have the same problems they had with Cyberpunk when they release their new games. So, there’s a lot happening at CD Projekt Red. With new Witcher games and more on the horizon, fans have a lot to look forward to.
