Earlier this week, Nubia unveiled a special edition of its latest flagship smartphone without revealing the price. The new variant celebrates the Chinese New Year.

This version of the handset officially goes by Nubia Z60 Ultra Year of the Dragon Limited Edition. It is now up for sale in China priced at ¥6,299 (~$890).

The package includes the phone in 24GB + 1TB memory configuration and customized accessories.

For comparison, the regular version of the device with the same amount of RAM and storage retails at ¥5,999 (~$850). So the brand is charging ¥300 (~$40) premium for the special edition.

The handset arrives in black with golden accents. In contrast, the magnetic case and the charging cable are in red.

Further, the box also consists of a power adapter, a magnetic stand, and a SIM ejector pin. Just like the phone, they also come in black. Finally, all the items in the box have a dragon logo.

As for specs, they remain the same as the standard variant.

For the unaware, the Nubia Z60 Ultra is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC paired with LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. It sports a 6.8-inch flat OLED display with a resolution of 2480 x 1116 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate.

The device comes with a triple-camera system comprising a 50MP primary sensor, a 50MP ultrawide unit, and a 3.2x periscope telephoto shooter. On the front, it has a 16MP under-display selfie camera.

The product is IP68-rated for dust and water resistance. Lastly, it is backed by a 6,000mAh battery with support for 80W wired charging.
