OnePlus has recently launched the OnePlus 12, alongside the OnePlus 12R and Buds 3, in India and the global market. The sales for these devices are set to begin on January 30th, 2024, but pre-orders are already underway. Notably, OnePlus reports a 212% increase in first-day pre-orders compared to its OnePlus 11, a significant achievement for the company.

The device boasts a 6.82-inch 2K AMOLED display, offering a peak brightness of 4500 nits. The inclusion of a Display P1 chip developed by OnePlus enhances image quality while reducing power consumption.

In terms of hardware, the OnePlus 12 is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, and comes with options for up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB UFS 4.0 storage. It also features an X7 Independent Visual processor to improve gaming performance.

The camera setup of the OnePlus 12 includes a 50 MP Sony LYT-808 sensor, a 64MP OV64B periscope telephoto lens with capabilities such as 3x optical zoom and up to 120x digital zoom, and a 48 MP ultra-wide camera. A 32 MP front camera is available for selfies. The device is backed by a 5400 mAh battery, supporting features like 100W SuperVOOC fast charging, 50W wireless charging, and reverse wireless charging.

The phone incorporates a Cryo velocity cooling system with a 9140 mm² VC heat dissipation area, designed to maintain optimal performance. OnePlus promises four years of Android updates and five years of security updates for the OnePlus 12.
