The latest sales data relating to sales of smart door locks by Chinese manufacturers indicate that more than 18.01 million sets were sold in 2023. The impressive numbers indicate a significant growth in the sales volume year-on-year and Xiaomi is the leading brand with top sales in the market.
The breakdown of the new sales data showed that China’s online traditional e-commerce sales of smart door locks were 4.31 million units, a 45% improvement from 2022. The online emerging e-commerce platforms accounted for 1.5 million sales showing a 70% improvement from the previous year. The top three manufacturers in the market in terms of sales volume and revenue were Xiaomi, Deschmann, and Cadiz.
Xiaomi, according to the sales information, is the topmost brand in the market across all online channels with a sales share of about 15%. The report indicates that Xiaomi has comparative advantages in product cost-effectiveness and smart experience. The brand has also accumulated a large number of existing internet users that it leveraged for its smart door lock offerings. The latest report also validated Xiaomi’s projection that it will be the leading smart door lock sales company by the end of 2023.
The Xiaomi Smart Door lock series includes the Xiaomi Fully Automatic Smart Door Lock, Xiaomi Fully Automatic Smart Door Lock Pro, Xiaomi Smart Door Lock E10, Xiaomi Smart Door Lock 1S, and Xiaomi Face Recognition Smart Door Lock X, among others. Xiaomi has a wide range of products to cover a wider segment of the population. The prices of the Xiaomi smart door lock series lie between 799 yuan and 2,999 yuan. Xiaomi expects the outlook for its smart door locks business to remain upbeat. It hopes to surpass its current share in the smart door lock market.
