The temperature in the tests dropped to negative 40 degrees Celsius
Spanning roughly two weeks, the tests threw the AG600M into the depths of winter’s embrace, with temperatures plummeting between a biting minus 20 to minus 40 degrees Celsius. The extreme cold provided the perfect backdrop to evaluate the aircraft’s resilience and operational capabilities under harsh conditions. The focus was on examining how the aircraft’s critical systems – including its power, fuel, flight control, and avionics – performed in the face of severe frost and freezing conditions.
